With marvellous serendipity, CORAL is screening during the days of the World Economic Forum in Tianjin, China, this week – as the centrepiece of the cultural program.

Lynette Wallworth and Confocal Microscopist Dr. Anja Salih are introducing each screening with producer John Maynard overseeing the construction of the dome and the complexities of the event. Every screening has been full, with queues forming from early in the day. All delegates to the forum are welcome audience members.

Alarmingly, in Australia this week, PM Tony Abbott has announced that Australia’s long-fought-for marine sanctuaries are to be ‘reviewed’.

In an article for the WEF website, Lynette discusses the need for art and it’s ability to not only raise awareness but also to make people care about serious issues such as climate change. It’s well worth a read.
