We are embarking on a journey to adapt one of William Yang’s iconic slideshow performance pieces, BLOOD LINKS, to the screen. You may have seen our previous production WILLIAM YANG: MY GENERATION on ABC TV or at Sydney Film Festival this year.
BLOOD LINKS is a story about the Chinese Diaspora, how Chinese migrants put down roots in foreign soil, and how over the generations, through intermarriage, blood is mixed, yet the intricate bonds of family tie people together.
We need your support to bring this work to life again, and to also preserve these performances so that future generations can enjoy them.
We’re at the fine cut stage of production and through a online Pozible campaign, we are trying to raise the money to finish post-production. We are offering a limited number of rewards at varying levels of donation, including prints by William Yang, and invitations to the premiere.
Tax deductions are also available for donations over $500.
If you’d like to donate please click here. Any support – big or small – is greatly appreciated!
